How Long Do You Grill Filet Mignon

There’s nothing quite like the taste of a good filet mignon. All-too-often, however, people are afraid to grill this fabulous cut of meat for fear of ruining it. If you have ever wondered how long you grill filet mignon, here is the answer:

• Filet mignon cooks best under hot quick heat. Grilling a nice thick steak for just five minutes on each side with a very hot grill may be all you need if you like your steak rare to medium rare.  A little longer if you want all the pink gone from the inside.
